Important Note
Our pricing are based on 24 hour usage. Additional charge RM 5 per hour will be charged if usage exceeds as per contract given after payment.
Free pickup and drop off are only in Pantai Chenang and Pantai Tengah area only. (subject to availability)
- Responsibility: As the renter, you are responsible for the vehicle’s condition and any damage during the rental period.
- Deposit: There will be RM 100 refundable deposit upon vehicle pickup that will be returned during the vehicle drop off. (If vehicle is returned as how you took it in the beginning)
- Excess Fees: Rental agreements include an excess fee, which is the maximum amount you’ll pay for damage. This can range from RM1500 for scooters to RM 3000 for cars.
- License Requirements: To drive a scooter or car in Malaysia, legally you would need International Driving Permit (IDP). If you don’t have it, we would allow as long as your license is eligible to drive scooter/bike in your country but any fines from police you are fully responsible to pay for it. Fines usually range from rm150-rm300 per fine.
- Returning the Vehicle: During the return process, Langkawi Trip will conduct a car/scooter inspection with you. If any new damage is noticed, inform us in advance to avoid last minute extra admin fees.
- Transparency: Langkawi Trip aims for transparency in the return process by conducting inspections with the renter.
- Fuel and Belongings: Ensure the fuel level is the same as when you received the vehicle and remove all your belongings before returning it.
