- Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email or voucher with details of your booking. You must present the voucher (digital or printed) to the Supplier to redeem the service.
2.2 Pricing and Payment
- All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated and include applicable taxes and fees unless specified.
- You agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout, including any additional fees (e.g., service or processing fees).
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your payment card details.
- Currency conversion rates, if applicable, are determined by your payment provider and may incur additional charges.
2.3 Cancellations and Refunds
- General Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the specific product or service booked and are detailed on the booking page or confirmation voucher. Policies may include:
- Flexible Cancellation: Full refund if canceled at least 48 hours before the activity start time.
- Moderate Cancellation: Full refund if canceled at least 7 days before the activity; 50% refund if canceled between 7 days and 48 hours before the activity.
- Strict Cancellation: Non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- Natural Disaster and Force Majeure:
- If an activity is canceled by the Supplier or LangkawiTrip due to a natural disaster (e.g., earthquake, tsunami, typhoon, volcanic eruption), extreme weather conditions, or other force majeure events (e.g., government-issued travel bans, pandemics, or civil unrest), you will be eligible for:
- A full refund to your original payment method, processed within 14 business days, or
- A credit voucher valid for 12 months, which can be used for any product or service on langkawitrip.com, subject to availability.
- To qualify, the natural disaster or force majeure event must directly prevent the activity from occurring, as determined by the Supplier or LangkawiTrip.
- You must submit a cancellation request within 7 days of the event notification, providing relevant details (e.g., booking reference, evidence of travel disruption if applicable).
- If an activity is canceled by the Supplier or LangkawiTrip due to a natural disaster (e.g., earthquake, tsunami, typhoon, volcanic eruption), extreme weather conditions, or other force majeure events (e.g., government-issued travel bans, pandemics, or civil unrest), you will be eligible for:
- How to Cancel: Submit cancellation requests through your account on the Website or by emailing langkawitrip99@gmail.com. Include your booking reference number and reason for cancellation.
- Refund Processing: Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days. Delays caused by Suppliers or payment providers are beyond our control.
- Non-Refundable Bookings: Bookings marked as non-refundable are not eligible for refunds except in cases of natural disasters or force majeure as described above.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a booked activity without prior cancellation will result in a 100% forfeiture of the booking amount, except in cases of natural disasters or force majeure.
3. Your Responsibilities
3.1 Accuracy of Information
- You are responsible for providing accurate booking details (e.g., names, dates, contact information).
- LangkawiTrip is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.
3.2 Compliance with Supplier Terms
- By booking a product or service, you agree to comply with the Supplier’s terms, conditions, and requirements (e.g., dress codes, health restrictions, arrival times).
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel documents (e.g., passports, visas, health certificates).
3.3 Conduct During Activities
- You agree to follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by Suppliers during activities.
- LangkawiTrip is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages caused by your failure to follow Supplier instructions.
4. Our Role and Limitations
4.1 Role of LangkawiTrip
- LangkawiTrip acts as an intermediary between you and Suppliers, facilitating bookings and payments.
- We do not own, operate, or control the products or services offered by Suppliers.
- Suppliers are solely responsible for delivering the booked services and handling any issues arising during the activity.
4.2 Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, LangkawiTrip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or participation in booked activities.
- Our liability for direct losses is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
- We are not responsible for disruptions caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics) or Supplier actions beyond our control.
4.3 Service Availability
- We strive to ensure the Services are available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- We may suspend or modify the Services for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Services, including text, images, logos, and software, is owned by LangkawiTrip or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., printing a booking voucher).
